Since 1985, the Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam has been helping people with legal problems on a voluntary basis. Read more about our history here.
The Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam aims to be transparent about its activities. We serve an important social purpose, and for this we are sponsored by the University of Amsterdam and the Legal Aid Board. You can find out how this money is spent in our annual financial reports. Every year, our treasurer draws up a budget for the coming year. The budget states how much money we plan to spend on certain aspects of our services. Finally, we publish an annual report each year. This report states how many people we have helped and in which areas of law. We also try to give an indication of the course we have taken in a year and the course we want to take in the future.

House regulations
The House Regulations of Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam contains information on how we take on cases. Here you can find how we handle clients and how our consultation hour is setup. Furthermore the internal regulations contain information about our commissions and the discussion of cases with lawyers who accompany our foundation. Having read the Internal Regulations the functioning of the foundation should be clear.

Articles of association
Since the foundation of Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam we work according a certain guideline. Our guideline is to provide legal aid to those who are less prosperous and are needy. This is the core of our foundation and is enshrined in our Articles of Association as such.
Our articles of association are an importation part of our foundation, because here we describe our goals and how we would like to achieve these goals. Moreover we give an insight on how we are planning to stay financial stable, while remaining independent and impartial.

In these terms and conditions, it is stated to which things you agree, when you ask for our legal advice. For example, when you ask for legal advice, it is provided by our foundation. Our volunteers act on behalf of the foundation, and are not personally liable. Read these terms and conditions carefully, before asking for our legal advice.

This is the privacy policy of Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam. Processing personal data is necessary to provide adequate legal advice to a cliënt. Financiële verantwoording
Stichting Wetwinkel Amsterdam heeft een maatschappelijk doel. Transparantie over de besteding van middelen maakt inzichtelijk hoe wij dat doel nastreven. Daarom publiceren wij jaarlijks een financiële verantwoording met de jaarrekening.
In de verantwoording vindt u onder meer:
• Inkomsten en uitgaven van de Wetwinkel
• Winst- en verliesposten
• Toelichting op de uitgaven
De verantwoording biedt zicht op onze organisatie en de wijze waarop wij onze doelstellingen realiseren.Vragen en opmerkingen kunt u op ieder moment richten aan info@wetwinkelamsterdam.nl en worden behandeld door de penningmeester van de stichting.
